  Did you know, on a yearly basis NMB sets 1% after tax profit to support Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives that go towards supporting the education sector by donating school desks, building libraries and providing laboratory equipment to primary and secondary schools across the country? This is one  among other CSR programmes NMB is involved in as its commitment to serve and give back to the environment it operates in. CSR is fundamental to the core business of NMB and the programmes are designed to ensure that they align with the global and national sustainable goals in education and poverty alleviation. Recently, the Prime Minister Hon Kassim Majaliwa, acknowledged the bank’s contribution to the society as captured in the video below.

      Wateja zaidi ya 300 kupata huduma kila siku katika Matawi hayo. Benki ya NMB imefungua matawi mawili ya NMB Katoro na NMB Nyamongo kanda ya ziwa katika mikoa ya Geita na Mara nakufanya jumla ya matawi ya NMB kanda ya ziwa kwa mikoa ya Mara, Mwanza, Geita na Kagera kufikia matawi ishirini na nne.

Fastjet, Tanzania’s low-cost airline has signed a partnership agreement with Tanzania’s largest bank NMB Bank which will see NMB customers and non-NMB customers purchase their fastjet air tickets through NMB bank branches and NMB Mobile.
