NMB Bank Junior Banker’s Program is designed to empower and develop Bank Tellers by providing certified courses that can enhance their performance and boost their career growth. Last year, the NMB Bank HR team transformed the Teller Induction Program to the Junior Banker’s Program- a three year career development plan designed to speed up Junior Bankers competencies in order to provide a strong foundation and develop their skills.

The NMB HR team has carefully mapped out the program that includes theory and practical elements with the aim to ensure that Junior Banker’s are productive, efficient and well integrated with other teams so that they can fit in their roles and other bank departments. A new working environment can be intimidating therefore it is important for our new staff to settle well in their new workplace and in the organization’s culture. The Teller Induction Program only focused on teller duties whereas in the Junior Banker’s Program employees will be empowered to maximize their potential in current and future development plans within the bank due to the wide spectrum of courses.
