Overview
Public Liability Insurance provides protection against legal liability to third parties for accidental death, bodily injury, illness or property damage caused in the course of business. The cover can be extended to include product liability for defective products supplied, manufactured or repaired by the insured.

Coverage includes bodily injury, property damage, financial loss, medical compensation, legal costs and related expenses.

• Estimated limit of indemnity per event or per period
• Estimated annual turnover if product liability is required
• Proposal form for clients requiring additional extensions

Claims procedures and documents required

1. Notify the insurer or NMB claims team immediately

2. Copy of ID including NIDA, Driving License or Voter’s ID

3. Duly completed claim form

4. Correspondence with third parties

5. Notice of intended prosecution, if applicable

6. Charge sheet, if applicable

7. Court judgment or proceedings, if applicable

8. Any additional documents requested
