Overview
Electronic Equipment Insurance covers accidental loss or damage to electronic devices caused by electrical or mechanical breakdown, power surge, accidental damage, theft or malfunction. It is suitable for individuals, businesses and organizations.

Information required for issuance or quotation

  • Age and condition of the equipment
  • Total value of all electronic equipment such as computers, printers, TVs, fridges and related hardware
  • A detailed list of items to be insured with their names, models and serial numbers
  • Estimated increase in cost of working and indemnity period if cover extension is required

Claims procedures and documents required

  1. Notify the insurer or NMB claims team immediately

  2. Copy of ID including NIDA, Driving License or Voter’s ID

  3. Duly completed proposal forms

  4. Repair estimates, technical reports and purchase invoices

  5. Photos of damaged items

  6. Any additional documents requested
