BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF COVER

Unforeseen and sudden physical loss or damage to the machine from causes such as defects in casting and material, faulty design, faults at workshop or in erection, bad workmanship, lack of skill, carelessness, shortage of water in boilers, physical explosion, tearing apart on account of centrifugal force, short circuit, storm, or from any other cause not specifically excluded in the policy.

INFORMATION REQUIRED FOR ISSUANCE OF COVER/QUOTATION

• List of machines with their details eg. Model type, capacity, manufacturer
• Value of the machines to be insured.

CLAIMS PROCEDURES AND DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

1. Notify the insurer or NMB claims team about the claim as soon as possible
2. Copy of ID (NIDA, Driving License or Voters ID)
3. Duly completed Claim form
4. Technical report
5. Photos of the damaged machine
6. Replacement/Repair quotation
7. Any other additional information as may be requested by insurer/NMB claims team
