Goods in Transit Insurance covers loss or damage to goods while being transported. Covered risks include fire, collision, overturning, theft, accidental damage, natural disasters, and damage during loading or unloading.

- Estimated annual carrying capacity that reflects the total value of goods to be transported in a year
- Limit for any one carry or consignment
- Description of goods
- Transport route
- Use of own or hired transport
- Type of transport, such as a container or a closed body vehicle
- Security measures in place
- Mode of transport, including road, sea, and packaging method
- Duration of coverage for single trip or annual policy
- Nature of goods, including hazardous or non-hazardous
Claims procedures and documents required
