“Ineke and her team at NMB are valued partners for Women's World Banking in their mission to serve women and girls with innovative financial products. Through this partnership, Ineke has already become a close ally and advisor to Women's World Banking’s mission,” said Mary Ellen Iskenderian, President and CEO of Women's World Banking. “We’re thrilled to formalize this role and welcome her to the Board of Trustees.”

Ms. Bussemaker shepherded a strong partnership between Women's World Banking and NMB, in which the two organizations are working together to develop products for women and girls across Tanzania. Ms. Bussemaker is a strong advocate of digital financial services and financial inclusion, both are core to the strategy of NMB.
