Clement was appointed to join NMB Bank’s Board of Directors in 2022.

He is a multidisciplinary and seasoned professional. Currently, he serves as an Independent Consultant in broad-based business management for vibrant private sector development. He has had a distinguished career with over 30 years of working experience in Governance, Risk Management, Business Continuity, Strategy, Financial Management, and Audit in various Government Institutions and International Organizations. He held different management roles within Tanzania and at the SADC Secretariat. He is highly recognized for his contribution to the development of the Community.

He holds a Masters’ of Science in Economic Management Policy (Industrialization, Trade & Economic Policy) and a Masters’ of Science in Finance both from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, Scotland. He also holds Advanced Diploma in Certified Accountancy (ADCA) from Mzumbe University (MU) and is an Associate member of Certified Public Accountants in Tanzania, CPA (T).

Clement brings to the Board valuable insights, a wealth of tremendous experience, and professional wisdom in the crucial areas of Governance, Financial Management, Audit, and Risk Management.
