Doreen Joseph is the Chief Risk Officer responsible for the bank’s overall risk strategy, planning, implementation, and coordination of all risk management activities. She is responsible to ensure credit, operations and market risk management and forensics structures are in place and aligned with the business plans and goals of the bank.

Qualification: Doreen holds a Master’s in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce and Management both from the University of Dar es Salaam Business School.

Career Experience: Doreen has a wealth of experience spanning over 15 years in risk management, leadership, strategy formulation and execution. Prior to joining NMB Bank in September 2022, Doreen worked with several banks where she held various executive management roles including Chief Manager Risk and Compliance at DCB Commercial Bank Plc where she joined after serving in different Senior Risk & Compliance at Twiga Bancorp and NBC Limited.
