Aziz brings a wealth of experience spanning over 17 years in treasury risk management, capital markets, corporate finance, capital planning, and balance sheet management. His treasury career began at Barclays Tanzania and culminated in his appointment as Country Treasurer in 2008. Since 2011, Aziz has been responsible for guiding the strategic direction of the treasury department at NMB, supporting the bank in foreign exchange activities, securities investments, and managing market and liquidity risks. He is a certified member of the ACI Financial Markets Association and holds an MBA from the University of Manchester's Business School in the United Kingdom. Currently, he is pursuing a Doctorate Degree in Business and Management (PhD) at Strathmore University.
