
Juma Kimori joined the Board of Directors of NMB Bank Plc in August 2025, bringing over 19 years of pan-African finance and audit leadership experience.
Juma is currently the NMB Bank’s Chief Financial Officer, a position he has held since 2021. As the CFO, Juma has played a key role in driving the bank’s strategy, strengthening its financial governance, optimizing the balance sheet, and advancing transparency in integrated financial reporting.
Juma previously served as the Chief Internal Auditor at NMB Bank, while his career began at PwC Tanzania, auditing clients in the financial services sector, before joining Barclays Bank Tanzania as Chief Internal Auditor. He later served as Regional Director of Internal Audit for Barclays Africa, overseeing audit teams across seven African markets, before joining NMB Bank in a senior leadership capacity.
Juma serves as the Chairman of the Co-operative Audit and Supervision Corporation (COASCO), where he was appointed by Her Excellency Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of the United Republic of Tanzania. He also serves as a member of the University Funding and Promotion Committee (UFPC) of the University of Dar es Salaam. Additionally, he has held leadership roles with the Institute of Internal Auditors (Tanzania), including Deputy Board Chair.
