Career Overview:
Appointed Director – Investor Relations, Sustainability & Corporate Communication in 2025, Innocent Yonazi serves on the Bank’s Executive Committee. He oversees Investor Relations, ESG Strategy, Corporate Communication, Marketing, and Brand Strategy—ensuring alignment with the Bank’s long-term strategic vision.
A seasoned Banker with over 12 years of cross-functional experience, Innocent is a Certified Business Communication Professional with expertise spanning strategy, governance, investor relations, and corporate communication. He has held leadership roles at Standard Chartered and Exim Bank before joining NMB in 2021 as the Head of Investor Relations & Sustainability Lead.
Since joining NMB, Innocent has played a pivotal role in advancing the Bank’s capital markets presence, ESG positioning, and corporate communication. Under his leadership, NMB has earned prestigious recognitions, including:
