Juma brings over 15 years of regional finance and audit leadership experience to NMB Bank. He commenced his career at PwC Tanzania, auditing clients within the financial services sector, before joining Barclays Bank Tanzania as Chief Internal Auditor. He was subsequently promoted to Regional Director of Internal Audit for the Absa Group, overseeing audit teams across seven African markets. Later, in 2018, he joined NMB Bank as Chief Internal Auditor and was appointed Chief Financial Officer in 2021. He now serves as the chairman of the COASCO board. Throughout these roles, Juma has cultivated a reputation for exemplary governance, data-driven decision-making, and the capacity to translate strategic objectives into sustainable growth.
