A chartered accountant with 17 years of experience in corporate banking, Alfred held executive roles at Standard Chartered (Executive Director & Head of Commercial Banking) and Stanbic Bank. Since his appointment as the Chief Wholesale Banking Officer in February 2019, he has managed the wholesale portfolio, driving strong income growth, underpinned by robust risk-return discipline. Alfred holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Commerce in Corporate Finance, both from the University of Dar es Salaam, and is a certified accountant from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
